Kevin Garnett is one of the most emotional players in the NBA. This has resulted in many epic comments made on the basketball court throughout the tenure of his hall of fame career. Last night he provided us one with another one of his classic interviews… well at least it started off as interview until KG took and started ranted saying that the Celtics 27 point comeback against the Magic was like a “ball fight”.

KG has a reputation of being one of the dirtier players in the NBA over the years. Can we please put that aside and realize how amazing this interview was. No matter what you think of him no one can deny his passion & emotion for the sport of basketball which has helped him become one of the best power forwards in NBA history.
Everybody that makes the NBA has tremendous talent but it’s the work ethic & mindset that often seperates the average player to the best. Gotta love the confidence he displays in coach Rivers being down 27 missing their best player in Rondo and best shooter in Allen going up against a younger and more athletic team in the Magic they wiped out a 27 point deficit. And it’s not like this was a narrow victory on the final shot of the game, they won by 8 points holding the Magic to 25 points in the second half and a mere 8 points in the entire fourth quarter.
I believe last night’s game could be a turning point in the season for the Celtics. They carried the momentum into tonight beating the Pacers 94-87 to win their 5th straight game and get back to .500 with a 9-9 record.
I am not a Celtics fan by any stretch of the imagination but will always have respect for a veteran ball club like this and would rather see them playing good instead of poor. It’s also a good thing for the NBA when the Celtics are winning and a relevant team when it comes to playoff picture. Go Celtics keep up the hard work!!! Never give up, a concept that has never fazed them.
